ACTION DAY IN BRENTWOOD
(Saturday, February 1, 2014)

Meeting type:Campaigning session
Date:Saturday, February 1, 2014
Time:10.30am - 4.00pm
Description:

We will be based at Christ Church Hall, Warley Hill, Warley, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 3AA.  You can get directions by clicking here.

Our activity on the day will be focused on the three marginal wards of Shenfield (which we are working to hold), Brentwood West and Warley (which we are working to gain). Crib sheets and calling cards will be provided.

Based on the latest election results, there is a very real possibility that we can deprive the Conservatives of overall control of Brentwood Borough Council at the elections in May.  But it will only if  people like you come to help us.  A good result for the Lib Dems in May would be a huge embarassment to Eric Pickles (the local MP) and a huge boost for local people.

With regards to lunch arrangements, there are a couple of pubs close to the hall and also a parade of shops.  Christ Church Hall itself has a kitchen with a kettle and a microwave if you would like to bring something from home or I can arrange for soup and sandwiches on the day.  If you would like to take the latter option could you let me know in advance of day so I know for how many people to arrange this.

If you let me know whether you can attend and your contact details that would be greatly appreciated.
