Cambridge City Action Day
(Saturday, February 9, 2013)
|Meeting type:||Campaigning session|
|Date:||Saturday, February 9, 2013|
|Time:||10.30am - 4.00pm|
Join campaigners in Cambridge for the National Day of Action and gain valuable experience while having a lot of fun. A great opportunity to learn if you're new, or brush up your skills if you're an old hand. We'll be running some games with a chance to win some great LibDem swag as prizes. We'll be based out of Councillor Belinda Brooks-Gordon's home in the north of Cambridge.
10.30 - 11.00: Meet at Belinda's for croissants and orange juice etc.
11.00 - 11.15: Canvass briefing with Fionna Tod (our Field Coordinator)
11.15 - 13.00: CANVASSING IN CASTLE WARD
13.00 - 14.15: Lunch at Belinda's
14.15 - 16.00: CANVASSING IN WEST CHESTERTON WARD.
Whilst we'll be encouraging everyone to participate in canvassing, there will be leaflet delivering available for those who solely wish to do that. Furthermore, if anyone cannot make it in the morning, but is free in the afternoon (or vice versa), please do come along. We'd be delighted to see you! Andrea Reiner (24 Hurst Park Avenue, CB4 2AE) has kindly offered her house as a meet-up point for the afternoon session. So, if anyone only available for the afternoon could go there for 2 pm, that would be great.
If you can, please drop a line to Belinda to say you're coming and to which session, which will help us make it the best possible experience for everyone attending. We'll provide vegetarian options, but please also let Belinda know if you have any other dietary restrictions.
