As the Equality Act and the Equality and Human Rights Commission come under threat from the Conservatives, it has never been more important for Liberal Democrats to fight for race equality – a campaign that has always been at the beating heart of the party.This conference focusses on race equality in education and employment and willl discuss the new report of the Lib Dem Task Force on Race Equality. It will discuss a new, progressive approach to race equality that will differentiate the Liberal Democrats from both Labour and the Conservatives.
