Lincoln Action Weekend - Carholme Ward - 24/25 March 2012
(Saturday, March 24, 2012)
| Meeting type: | Campaigning session |
| Date: | Saturday, March 24, 2012 |
| Time: | 9.30am - 7.30pm |
Lincoln Liberal Democrats are holding an Action Weekend in their key seat for this May. It is a seat which we hold (the only district seat we have), but we are facing an increasingly vicious Labour fight in the area and a strong showing from the Tories. We also have a new candidate in David Harding-Price.
We need help in order to keep Labour from retaking the seat, and therefore, wiping us of the map in Lincoln. We are looking for people who can spare an hour or two in this beautiful, historic city to help out with delivering our second focus leaflet and to assist with canvassing if possible.
All this takes place this coming weekend (24 and 25 March). We are planning to meet at the car park of the Grandstand (an iconic landmark in the heart of the ward) which is easily accessible from the A46 Lincoln Bypass (from the north and south) and the A57 (from the west). It is just off the junction of these two roads on the way into the City (post code for Sat Nav's LN1 1SE).
We will be there between 9.30 and 10.30 in the morning and between 2 and 2.30 in the afternoon on both days for you to collect your rounds.
If you can help please contact the agent, Ross Pepper, on ross.pepper@lincolnlibdems.org.uk or by phone on 07821 445473.
Many thanks in advance, and let's keep the Lib Dems fighting in Lincoln!
