Lib Dem PPC for Hackney South, Dave Raval will be one of the speakers at this event.
The format will be similar to BBC’s Question Time. There will be a chair, and several panel members. Ian Ashman will represent HCC and there will be a representative from the University and College Union. There may be one other panel member who can represent schools and young people in Hackney.
The audience are invited to submit questions in advance. Questions will be selected by the chair, with support from colleagues who are not involved in the event.
The event is being publicised to staff, students and the community – via posters in community centres, twitter, our website and personal contacts as well as publicity within College. We want the people of Hackney, who have an interest in education, to feel welcome to attend.
