Watford Annual dinner with David Howarth MP
(Saturday, October 10, 2009)

Meeting type:Social event
Date:Saturday, October 10, 2009
Time:7.00pm - 7.00pm
Description:

The Watford Annual Dinner is on Saturday 10th of October and we are delighted that that David Howarth MP will be our guest speaker.

David is the MP for Cambridge, and our Shadow Secretary of State for Justice. He is also a supporter of Amnesty International. Despite only being elected in 2005, David soon made a name for himself on the backbenches, spearheading the campaign against what was dubbed the Abolition of Parliament Bill, the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill. He was an observer at the Kingsnorth Climate Change Camp demonstration last year, and uncovered the fact the the "string of injuries to police caused by the demonstrators" amounted to toothache, diarrhoea, cut fingers and "possible bee stings"

Please book early for this fantastic event, and do bring friends to hear this excellent speaker who fights in parliament for our civil liberties and for democratic reform.

Do let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.
