An evening meal at the Bold Hotel, Southport with guest speaker Lord Lee of Trafford (John Lee). Lord Lee is a former Minister for Tourism. He is currently a Liberal Democrat spokesperson in the Lords for defence and for Culture, Media and Sport. Formerly a Conservative MP, John Lee joined the Liberal Democrats in 2001 and was made a life peer in 2006.
Tickets are £20 each for a three course meal (vegetarian option available). Please make cheques payable to "Kew Ward Liberal Democrats" and send to Kew Ward Lib Dems, 35 Shakespeare Street, Southport, PR8 5AB. Smart dress.
