"How to keep British radio and television the best in the world" with guest speaker Jocelyn Hay - President of The Voice of the Listener and Viewer.

Organised by Ecclesall Ward Liberal Democrats but open to all.

The Voice of the Listener and Viewer campaigns to safeguard the BBC’s ability to provide impartial news and current affairs and to maintain its unique patronage of drama, live music and the arts and to maintain Channel 4’s distinctive public service remit; to extend public service values to new media platforms; and to ensure the interests of citizens are at the heart of broadcasting policy in the digital age.

Jocelyn Hay founded the organisation in 1983 and was honoured in 1999 for her services to broadcasting.
