URGENT - Change of venue

Due to illness of the adverstised host, Laura Willoughby has kindly agreed to take over as host and so the P&P will be held at her home at:

Laura's house is off Tollington Park and near the Stroud Green Road, just a few minutes away from Finsbury Park tube station.Everything else about the evening will be the same - it will start at 8pm and finish at 10pm.  We are enormously grateful to Laura for stepping in at the last minute.

Our next Pizza and Politics promises to be both topical and fascinating. It is being held just 8 days after President Barack Obama's Inauguration. Our speaker Dr Mark Pack, Head of Innovations at Cowley Street, will focus his talk on the following questions: 'Many of us interested in politics have been dissecting Barack Obama's campaign for lessons for months but as the dust settles, what are the lessons that we can apply, directly and locally to Islington's Liberal Democrats? And as his new administration takes shape, what are the lessons from his use of technology for governing that could be applied to how we run the local council?' 

Pizza, wine and juice will be served with a suggested donation towards costs of £10.00 (or £5.00 for students/unwaged people).  Hope you can come! Our Feb 25th P&P will have the Spring Conference as its theme.  Our main speaker will be Stephen Williams MP who will talk across the range of social mobility and education issues.
