Public meeting to discuss Liberal Democrat policies and local action on combatting crime.

Speakers include

Jill Shortland, Somerset County Councillor (initiator of the Chard and ilminster Justice Panel and Chair of the Suth West Regional Assembly) 

Tony Fife, South Somerset District Councillor, and Chairman of Mendip and South Somerset Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership

Chairman Paull Robathan, South Somerset District Council Vice Chairman and Chairman of the South Somerset Together Local Strategic Partnerhsip

We will consider specific local initiatives such as fingerprint scanning, local CCTV, the collaboration between communities and the police on PCSOs and South Petherton's police post; local concerns about young people's access to activities and Liberal Democrat approaches to addressing the whole range of crime categories.
