Luton Action Day
(Saturday, February 24, 2007)
Meeting type: | Campaigning session |
Date: | Saturday, February 24, 2007 |
Time: | 10.30am - 4.30pm |
The Liberal Democrats have been in minority control of Luton Borough Council since the last elections in 2003. We are proud of our record, overturning years of Labour neglect and beginning substantial regeneration of the town.
In May we go to the polls again, 'all up'. Our aim is quite simple - to gain overall control and continue our work in improving our town.
We have arranged a series of Action Days. Our next will be on Saturday 24th February, with sessions starting at 10.30am and 2.00pm, followed by an evening drinks and social.
Our chosen meeting place is just off Junction 11 of the M1. Anyone planning to come by train please contact us and we will arrange to meet you at the station.
With your help we can make Luton a 'Lib Dem gain from NOC' on election night.
