(Tuesday, October 31, 2017)

Meeting type:Public Meeting
Date:Tuesday, October 31, 2017
Time:6.30pm - 8.30pm

What are the barriers to career progress. Are there glass ceilings and what can be done to remove them and make opportunity fair and non-discriminatory? Our panel will discuss various ideas and initiatives and debate with the audience. There will be a free welcome drink and cash bar. Plus time for audience interaction, social and networking.

This meeting is free to attend - but please register to book your place and let us know who you are as we issue name badges. The event is organised jointly by London Liberal Democrats and Liberal Democrats in Business

Join us for our social and networking event which celebrates Black History month.

Sir Simon Hughes is chair of our panel. Having started his career as a radical barrister with a concern for inner cities and civil rights, an articulate idealist, he was the victor in a famous by-election battle against the Labour Left in 1983 in Southwark and Bermondsey. Simon went on to represent the area in Parliament for 32 years. Simon has been the President of Southwark Chamber of Commerce since 2013.

Panel includes:

Anna Casey and Clint Evans of RPC and Dee Sekar who is Head of I&D at MyKindaFuture.
