Rally #INtogether with Sal Brinton
(Saturday, June 4, 2016)
Meeting type: | Campaigning session |
Date: | Saturday, June 4, 2016 |
Time: | 7.00pm - 9.00pm |
Join Baroness Sal Brinton, President of the Liberal Democrats, for a rally and Q&A ahead of the European Union Referendum.
The EU referendum is less than a month a way, and the polls are neck and neck. The Lib Dems know that we're better off leading in Europe, working democratically with other European countries on the issues that affect us all. This is the biggest single political decision for decades, and it's vital that we get out there and make the positive, liberal case for remaining #INtogether.
Join us for a rally at Ziferblat on Edge Street in the Northern Quarter on Saturday evening, 7-9pm. Sal will give us her expert in-depth run-down on the campaign so far and the challenges ahead, followed by a Q&A session, and then a chance to mingle with other members and supporters. This is not a member-only event, so please invite your pro-European friends even if they're not (yet) Liberal Democrats!
Attendance is free and includes tea, coffee, cake and biscuits, though we suggest a donation of £5-10 to cover costs - any proceeds go straight into campaigning!
If you're free from 3:30-6pm, why not join us on the doorstep in Chorlton?
