Thanks a lot to everyone who came this evening. A good time seemed to be had by all, and the total turnout of around 20 (give or take a few journalists!) was very respectable.

Note the slightly later start time - people seemed to find 7.30pm a bit easier for various reasons. Although if you want to start any earlier, feel free!

Unfortunately, I've just learned I'm going to have to be a little bit late due to work. Could anyone volunteer to turn up at 7pm and mock up a table sign to welcome newcomers?

Just for once apart from calamity I should be able to attend amazingly. Usually these events clash horribly with something else but I have the evening free.
