David Laws MP will be in Cambridge next Thursday and members will have an opportunity to hear from and quiz him on any coalition or Lib Dem policy issue. Now that he's returned to government, David has a key position within the coalition as a Minister in the Cabinet Office working on a cross-department basis on coalition and government policy. Additionally, David works with Michael Gove MP in the department for Education, with responsibility for schools. He has also recently been appointed Chair of our party's 2015 Manifesto Group, working with Julian Huppert MP and Cllr Julie Smith.
