Every Christmas Pauline Pearce (AKA The Hackney Heroine) organises a big Christmas celebration with her friends from the network of communities that she has been in touch with. This time she is organising her Christmas event with Hackney Liberal Democrats with our special guests from Citizens UK (http://www.citizensuk.org/)

Citizens UK are a national network of community organisations that campaign on behalf of communities for issues such as a Living Wage and Immigration Rights.

Liberal Democrats who went to the last national conference of the party will remember the presentation they gave that thanked Nick Clegg and the Liberal Democrats for their important role in ending the child detention of Asylum Seekers in centres like Yarls Wood.

Pauline has also been rehearsing with her group of choir singers for the occasion!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Entrance is £10, or £5 if you are on low income, IF you pay IN ADVANCE (ie here).
On the day it is £15, no concessions. Cost includes food, vegetarians are catered for.
