Please join us for an exciting and unique fundraising event on Saturday 14th of July - an historical tour of Liberal London as viewed from the Thames with Simon Hughes MP and London DuckTours! Our ‘Undiscovered London - Southbank and Southwark’ tour will focus especially on the rich history of riverside Southwark - the ancient and winding streets were well known to Keats, Dickens, Shakespeare and Chaucer. This is the site of Tudor theatres and ancient ale houses, where Winchester Geese worked alongside the bear pits – the area has provided entertainment and escapism for centuries.

A place of contrasts and constant change – where the medieval rubs shoulders with the  super modern spike of The Shard, The glitz of the Oxo Tower and the towering Tate Modern.  Admire the mighty St Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge before heading past the Imperial War Museum to James Bond’s HQ, MI6 for our Splashdown….it’s all been for your eyes only! 

Please meet us at CHICHELEY STREET SE1 7PY, right behind the London Eye and opposite ‘All Bar One’, at 3pm. This event is preceded by our usual Saturday campaigning, so please do join us at Bermondsey Tube Station at 11am if you can.
