Winchester Liberal Democrats - AGM
(Saturday, November 14, 2009)
Meeting type: | Organisational meeting |
Date: | Saturday, November 14, 2009 |
Time: | 2.00pm - 6.00pm |
We’ve decided to do things differently this year, with a half-day constituency conference and ‘away day’ rather than the traditional ‘AGM’.
Saturday will be a great opportunity to get to know fellow members, attend policy discussion and training sessions, learn more about the General Election campaign for 2010 and get involved in our plans for when we re-gain and/or keep control of our local councils.
Registration is from 2pm on Saturday 14th, and the day will begin at 2:15pm. During the afternoon there will be a range of workshops (see below for more information) followed by the AGM business at 5pm. Martin Tod, our Parliamentary Candidate will conclude the evening, and the AGM will finish promptly at 6pm.
- Tips for knocking on doors (canvassing and membership recruitment) - led by Lynda Banister
- Equality - what does it mean - led by Martin Tod
- Planning - the ins and outs of the regulations and committee processes - led by Kelsie Learney
