Membership recruitment and Officer Training - Preston
(Saturday, January 27, 2007)

Meeting type:Training session
Date:Saturday, January 27, 2007
Time:12.00pm - 4.00pm
Description:

All other Liberal Democrat members are welcome to this training session.

Why not make a full day of it and help with posting leaflets in the morning! Do let us know if you intend to attend as we will be providing a light lunch.

In the afternoon Cowley Street Guru Dave Hodgson will be providing the training. There will be a 40 minute session on membership recruitment followed by knocking on known supporters to put your new found skills into practice. There will also be Officer training for  local party executive officer positions. You do not have to be an exec officer to attend. It will provide an insight into the workings of a local party.

This is an excellent opportunity to get your newly formed local party setting off on the right foot. I hope you will come to Preston to meet fellow LibDems, learn and have fun.

This venue is a 15 minute bus ride from the bus or train station with public transport links. Do give us a call for details.

Looking forward to it. I've seen Dave Hodgson at conference and he is indeed the "guru". Should be with a few of our exec members as well.
