The conference gives ALTER members and supporters an opportunity to discuss the strategy needed to achieve our aim of implementing LVT. The conference will be followed by the ALTER AGM.

Guest speakers will include the author of a recent book on Hong Kong's economic miracle (and son of a former HSBC chairman) Andrew Purves; Stephen Stretton on Location Value Convenants and Frank van Lerven from Positive money.

Price and payment: There will be a fee of £8 per head for ALTER members and £15 for non-members. Tea and coffee and lunch is included.

12 noon Stephen Stretton "LVT, Money and Debt: Introducing Location Value Covenants" The talk will cover how they could work alongside a local and national LVT.

2.00 pm Frank van Lerven from Postive Money - campaigning for the power to create money to be used in the public interest. Frank is a full-time researcher at Positive Money working on the availability of credit under a Sovereign Money system.

Getting there

There is plenty of car parking and a bus service from Oxford Railway Station and from the Brookes stop for London coaches (the Oxford Tube and the X90).
