Meeting details

Not the World Cup Final
(Saturday, July 8, 2006)

Meeting type:Social event
Date:Saturday, July 8, 2006
Time:7.30pm - 11.00pm
The event is sponsored by the Sheffield Liberal Democrat Action and Involvement group. This is an event open to all Liberal Democrats, especially those who might be interested in becoming part of the group.

As well as watching the World Cup third place playoffs match on the telly there will be sandwiches provided, good company, and of course the opportunity to purchase alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks from the bar!

At half time and after the final whistle Becky Sharp will entertain with her famous graffiti wall. This gives all spectators the chance to take part in planning future events both social and political.

"The Sheffield Liberal Democrat Action and Involvement Group exists to increase membership of the party and to promote opportunities for campaigning and engagement so that the party in Sheffield becomes a vibrant, welcoming, open, accessible organisation."
