A challenging series of debates is scheduled, providing a broad platform for a varied, all inclusive set of contributors. Nick Clegg has been invited to open the conference with the inaugural William Beveridge Memorial Lecture. MPs including Paul Burstow, Tom Brake, Ed Davey, Lynne Featherstone and Simon Hughes will contribute to stimulating debates throughout the day. Plenary and break-out sessions range from 'Reasserting the Liberal Democrats' and 'The Housing Generation Gap' to 'Responding to the Coalition; new political movements'. Contributions from the ?Hackney Heroine? Pauline Pearce, Naomi Colvin from Occupy, Evan Harris, Gordon Lishman and Michael Meadowcroft are augmented by a host of important contributors from within and outside the Liberal Democrat Party including Natasha Chapman, Kavya Kaushik and Tom Wood of Liberal Youth.
