I know it's Friday the 13th., but isn't it tempting fate to announce the time as 7am to 10am (sic, see above)?!

This has always been a good fun event in the past. Make up a team on a ward basis, or any other that you fancy, or let us know you are coming and we will be sure to fit you in. Supper includes a choice of cod, haddock, plaice, skate or rock as fish; Chicken, veggie burger, saveloy or sausage for those who prefer meat.

This one is by courtsey of John and Priscilla McBride, whose open plan basement is an ideal venue for the event. Priscilla is also notorious for her generous hospitality.
Apologies for the short notice. I do hope a good number of people will come!

Comment on Flock Together » Camden LBC, Haverstock by-election page by rkjfyoung

This ward is one in which the Liberal Democrats hold one seat, and Labour have had two. The byelection is caused by the resignation due to ill health of a veteran Labour councillor with over 50 years' service - a former Mayor and Council leader who is to be made Camden's first honorary alderman at a special tribute meeting of the Council on June 6th.
The Liberal Democrats' Cllr Jill Fraser (Camden's Mayor 2006-7) easily topped the poll in Haverstock in May 2006. The second Lib Dem candidate was defeated by just 21 votes.
The candidate this time will be Matt Sanders, who lives in the ward and who works for Sarah Teather MP.
This will be an absolutely key byelection in inner London, a test for Camden's LibDem-led partnership administartion (which already won one signal byelection victory in Kentish Town last December) and for the Holborn & St Pancras constituency, whose ppc Jo Shaw will be managing the campaign.
Roll up! This one should be fun!
