  Sarah Ludford has been a prominent and active campaigner on measures to c
 ombat human trafficking and sexual crime and to aid the search for missing
  children. She is in the forefront of action on equality and diversity\, a
 nd is a vocal campaigner against anti-Semitic\, Islamophobic and homophobi
 c hate crime\, while upholding the right to free speech.Sarah Ludford has 
 been the Lib Dem MEP for London since 1999.&nbsp\; A former councillor\, s
 he is a non-voting member of the House of Lords and Lib Dem spokeswoman on
