DESCRIPTION:The theme of our next Pizza and Politics is the 2010 Islington 
 Council Election Manifesto.&nbsp\; This is not a dry and dusty document - 
 its ultimate and crucial aim is to keep Islington Lib Dem. Our speaker Cll
 r Ursula Woolley\, is leading&nbsp\;its&nbsp\;preparations. At the recent 
 Islington AGM she talked about the importance of the manifesto being value
 s based with social justice at its heart. She also said that the local par
 ty must have ownership of the manifesto and it must reflect the range of e
 xperiences of people living in Islington. Ursula is currently consulting t
 he borough&rsquo\;s backbench councillors and will report back to the P&am
 p\;P on the common threads emerging from these discussions. She is committ
 ed to listening to everyone while preparing the manifesto. This Pizza and 
 Politics gives us all an early chance to get involved. Do come if you can.
  Pizza\, wine and juice will be served with a suggested donation of &pound
 \;10.00\, or &pound\;5.00 for students/unwaged people.&nbsp\;
