BBQ and Pizza
(Friday, June 12, 2015)
Meeting type: | Campaigning session |
Date: | Friday, June 12, 2015 |
Time: | 7.00pm - 10.00pm |
We would like to welcome new members, existing members and their guests to a Lib Dem Summer Social on Friday 12 June at the Godmanchester Community (Plant) Nursery, Park Lane Godmanchester (PE29 2AG, to the rear of number 25 Park Lane). This is an informal social gathering: a chance to meet friends and make new friends.Â
You’ll have the opportunity to tour the Nursery and find about this important community asset before enjoying pizza from their wood-fired pizza oven or burgers and sausages fresh from the BBQ on us (no charge). We’ll provide soft drinks and you are welcome to bring something stronger if you wish.Â
We have plenty of parking on site but will be a little short on chairs, so you may want to bring one with you! We think it fair to tell you there is a toilet on site, of the composting variety! The evening will go ahead regardless of weather so we advise you to dress according to the forecast, as we will be dining al-fresco. The tour will include areas with pasture grass: closed footwear is not necessary but may well be more comfortable. This is an evening for adults only – sorry, no children or pets. There will be a raffle to raise funds for Huntingdonshire Lib Dems Party and the Nursery will have plants and produce on sale at very reasonable prices.Â
We will need to know numbers and any dietary requirements so please do confirm by June 9th if you are able to join us: sarahjconboy@mac.com 01480 414900.
