Meeting details

Rochester & Strood By-election canassing campaign
(Friday, October 31, 2014)

Meeting type:Campaigning session
Date:Friday, October 31, 2014 - Sunday, November 2, 2014
Time:11.00am - 11.00am
Description:

Medway LibDems will be out in force tomorrow (Friday 31st October) and Saturday 1st November knocking on doors in Rochester. We need as many additional volunteers as possible to really swamp the area. So far, we have been receiving a warm reception on he doorstep. People are not happy about Mark Reckless and UKIP and they don't feel too confident about his Tory replacement. Labour are not thought to have a chance in Rochester & Strood.

Our LibDem candidate, Geoff Juby has stood in this constituency for the last three general elections and has increased his share of the vote on each occasion. We need as much help as possible to keep that momentum going and to build for the 2015 general election.

We also need a great deal of help at the Maidstone office on Sunday, stuffing FREEPOST envelopes. If you are not able to help on the doorsteps Friday and Saturday, but can manage envelope stuffing on Sunday then please do come along.

Gather at 11am Friday at 27, Gun Tower Mews, Rochester, Kent ME1 3GU and at the same venue on Saturday at 10am for the morning session and the same place at 2pm Saturday for the afternoon session.

We look forward to seeing you.
