POSTPONED: East of England Regional Conference 2019
(Saturday, November 2, 2019)

Meeting type:Conference
Date:Saturday, November 2, 2019
Time:10.00am - 4.00pm
Description:

Following the General Election announcement East of England Regional Conference has been POSTPONED until Saturday 8 February 2020, from 10am until 4pm.

Conference Committee took this decision because many key participants have important General Election commitments making their attendance difficult or impossible.

We are encouraging people to attend action days in their nearest target seats instead. Sign up at www.eastlibdems.org.uk/ge2019 to be put in contact with a nearby campaign team.

Join members from across the East of England to hear from parliamentarians, take part in debate and discussion and learn more at training sessions.

Our keynote speaker is Lib Dem Deputy Leader Ed Davey MP. Our two new MEPs, Barbara Gibson and Lucy Nethsingha will report back on their work and bring us the latest news on Brexit – just two days after the 31 October deadline. Also joining us are Norman Lamb MP, Mayor Dave Hodgson, Don Foster (Lord Foster of Bath) and expert contributors to help us address the climate emergency.

Our venue is the Cambridge Regional College, a modern campus easily accessible from Cambridge Station and Cambridge North Station via the Cambridgeshire Guided busway. The college is close to junction 33 of the A14. Ample parking is available.
