What's it all about?

We're hosting a policy innovation event in Derby, with a guest speaker, which will be a chance to meet and collaborate with like-minded Liberal Democrats to write the policy that will change the course of British politics! Whether you're completely new to writing policy or have just dotted the last 'i' on your 50th policy motion for conference, this event is for you.

It's a free event and light refreshments will be available. We will also be holding a raffle, with the proceeds going to the Derby local party for kindly letting us use their office to host the event. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

At this event, we will also be helping to launch the Ashdown Prize for Radical Thought. This is a national competition looking for the most original and bold idea to empower the citizen. If you're looking for inspiration, writing policy with other members will hopefully give you that spark!

How can I get there?

There is a bus stop approximately 3 minutes walk from the location, served by Trent Barton's 'The Mickleover' and Villager V1 bus routes. These go from Derby Bus Station, which is 15 minutes walk from Derby Railway Station.
